I have a nice axe head marked OAKLAND MAINE but the manufacturer name is lost in the mushroomed head.
Only other marking is the weight stamp 3 1/4 under the poll.
Not all Oakland axes had weight marking under the poll. I know Marsh did with a unique font, flat topped 3.
This axe is not Marsh. Anybody know who the manufacturer might be? Thanks
