Oakley Standard Issue eyewear

I know you can't buy these from the Oakley website without military ID. So does anyone know a third party route to get them? I'm particularly wanting the Flak Jacket XLJ.
 
you would have to know someone with an account or willing to open one with the proper id.
 
well, you could always enlist in the army and deservingly collect on the military discount.
 
you need an account to see the prices or purchase.

i believe everything is 50% off retail.
 
Oakleys SI stuff is awesome, I absolutely love dealing with, and will never buy glasses or goggles from any other maker, that they give that discount sold me on them for life.

All the stuff they offer throught the SI sight they offer elsewhere, just without the discount
 
The site is set up for military and other government services. I see it as their way of saying thank you to all the guys and gals out there out serving their country and communities. If you are not one of these people then it would be rather dishonest to try to have someone purchase them for you. If you are involved in the Military, Police, Fire, or EMS then set up an account. If you arnt, but are still looking to pick up a pair, the site doesnt offer an exclusive stuff, its all offered at many other stores. From what Ive heard SI is a great company. It looks like the discount is around 50% off. Ive been thinking about picking up a pair of the polarized Half Jacket XLJs from them for a little while. They look like a sweet pair of glasses

yes, agreed. after rereading my first post here, i gave the impression otherwise, hadn't quite thought it through i suppose. i have an account (leo), and order for officers i work with.

the only non-sworn person i have ever ordered for was a girlfriend who liked a pair i had.

si is great to deal with, and functions, more or less, as a separate entity from oakley.

and btw, you should consider the flak jackets. basically the same lense, slightly different arms, and comes with the clamshell case for the same price.
 
You dug up a two and a half year old thread for that? I'm pretty sure by now he's either figured that out or doesn't care.
