Wonder when Mike is going to hook up with a designer and/or purveyor and come out with a limited edition knife? Or does anyone know if something is in the works?

Mikes father-in-law, Kit Carson , is no stranger to this type of knife and his latest, the Vanguard E&E, is a classic. Another Kentucky maker, J.W. Smith has also made several collabs.

Mike already makes what in my eyes is a CLASSIC in his model 2. I have a framelock on order from him in this model and can't wait to get it. But I would like to see him be given the oppurtunity to make a limited edition tactical folder like those in the Vanguard series.

Put me down for one Mike WHEN the time comes!:D :D :D
 
Mike already has one (although already sold out) with Joel Pirela. I wish i would have seen that one in time to get in.

Thanks for the link samhell. After going to it I realized I had seen it before, but it was before I "found" Mike Obenauf!:) That looks like it will be a nice one. Can't wait to see it in steel and G-10. BTW I have a large model 2 of Mike's that has the tan G-10 on it, wasn't sure I would like it at first but after I got it I like it!
