That is a very solid, great looking knife. I have always liked the look of folders with blades that are wider than the handles.

*Edited because my typing made me look dyslexic.

Keith, if there is one word for this knife it is solid. A pleasure to hold and cuts like a dream.

I just love the look of this knife. it looks like it is made from one piece of metal. Is the blade coted with boron carbide to give it that look?

The hollow ground S30V blade and titanium handle are both bead blasted. Bob described it as "pinging" the metal, putting a coat of dents carpeting the surface without digging pits.

Man James, you're making me drool....

I put mine on order a few months ago (a small) and it's finally shipping tomorrow, can't wait to see it!!

It was ready last week but I had requested a red or blue back spacer in it and Mike forgot, so it was delayed a bit.

stjames...
very, very nice..saw yours awhile back and had to have one..contacted mike prior to blade and i got 2!
mini and large..here is the mini..!

Guys, thanks. Reading your posts makes this old father in law knifemaker proud:)
I sure hope MikeO doesn't read this. Every time he does, he struts around the shop like a king:)

MR. Carson,
i have never had the pleasure of meeting you but, after meeting mike at blade..a couple of things are VERY clear:
he KNOWS how to make an unbelievable knife and
he KNOWS how to treat a customer..
both of which speaks...volumes!

u-dog, thanks for the pic, I'm waiting on a few more from Mike myself. How does the little guy handle? The large is a hand-full of knife.

Kit, you should be proud as well, Mike has learned his lessons well. The real praise comes from customers placing orders :)

james,
the little guy is a DREAM...boy, am i glad i got her!
she is thin but built like a tank!
i can grip it with all four fingers and the wide blade will shave fuzz from a peach and is the perfect size for office or travelling!

Nice stuff, guys! I'm expecting the same thing with texturing on the scales as well as a thumb scallop, It's over due, so this week is the week!

I got a large model in today. S30V blade steel. Locks up like a bank vault. The model 2 fits me like a glove. I wouldn't have thought it could have been improved upon but the model 2 framelock does. It is thinner and seems to feel better in my hand. It is a knife that really inspires confidence.

Now if I can just get Mike to make one with a wicked recurve blade. :D

Wow that is one rock solid looking knife! Thanks for the pictures guys.., that is a "must have"....

u-dog, thanks, I am looking forward to the mini version!

Barry, you will have to post some pictures, I'd like to see what Mike does with your knife.

Dennis, it is a great feeling knife, a solid handful of steel and titanium!

Nice, Barry, I like the "dimples" on the framelock  Lots of fun things you can do with a piece of ti!

James.
The dimples make latching on to the knife easier. Somtimes plain titanium is too slippery for the hands. I haven't gotten use to how much thinner the framelock is compared to the liner lock #2. I'm gonna try to talk Mike into a thicker one (or two!)
