Years ago I briefly had a Spyderco, which had a little sping-loaded snap-link at the butt-end rather than a pocket-clip. It was designed for climbers and hikers. I think it was more or less like a Delica. Anyone remember it, know what I'm talking about, have one, have pics?

The remote release has a sliding clip at the but end. The snap it has a wire gate clip at the pivot end.

Sounds like the Snap-It, thanks guys, very fast off the mark! :)

Yep, that's the one! Thanks again.

At least I think it is, my recollection was that it had a longer blade and that the clip was at the other end, but that may just be my faulty memory. Hadn't realised Spyderco still made it.

Here is a pic both are in the left hand corner.

Thanks again Rycen, fine collection you have there. I think I must have been wrong about the location of the clip. I had mine in 1993 or '94, fairly new then I believe.

Just to add, mine had the black handle and the serrated blade. I think the steel was G2, the same as my Co-Pilot.

If it had G2 steel it was probably the snap it. I believe the remote release was made after the the time when G2 was most used.

Yes I think you're right. Thanks for all your help, much appreciated :)
