Obscure steel info sought....

Guys,

Did I search on the forums, but can't seem to find any information on what seems to be a fairly obscure steel: WNR4110. It is a French steel. Anyone know anything about it? How it compares to more mainstream steels? I think it is a stainless....

I think it might actually be considered German rather than French. If I recall correctly, WNR4110 is a cutlery grade alloy with a fairly low carbon content (0.5%) and high (15%) chromium content. I would think it comparable to a 440A steel.
