The knives have become the most liquid, fastest moving product on the second hand knife market. Demand is growing fast and Diabolical vs other knives. Seven months ago I had no idea who Chris Reeve was, but ex actor. Today I own over 20 different CRK Sebenza/Umnumzaan/ and Mnandi folders. Majority Sebenzas.

I believe the market penetration is relatively low still. Once an individual owns one, there is simply no stopping them of multiple purchase.

Quality, high resale value, being extremely liquid makes this company a great investment. Wish they had stocks for sale, Until they do I will keep buying their product that over the years proved to have a solid return on investment.

I see the same thing , and guilty as charged..... The prices of "marginaly" rare or vintage CRK's seems astounding.....

This is true with many production knife companies and many customs if you buy the right models(or from the right makers).
Some of the Spyderco sprints and limited runs almost double a year after selling out. Same with some Benchmade, ZT and other brands.
I also have some older Case knives that I bought for less than $30 and now sell for over $100 easy.
Busse prices have went up almost double on some of the models I bought just 5 years ago, but some models haven't went up much at all.
Some of the Customs I've bought from makers that had a very long wait time were worth double what I paid by the time I got them.

If one happens to buy mostly one brand they may not notice what is happening with other brands or custom makers as much as they notice whats happening with the brand they buy.

CRK is my favorite production knives. Wish I had bought a load of the Regulars when I first started buying CRK in the early 2000's, but like with any knife its often hard to predict which models will increase the most until its to late.

Maybe the reason they are the "fastest moving product on the second hand knife market" is because you have bought 20 if them in the last 7 months lol.

Quality is the main reason . Its that way with most things ,that company is driven by a man who don't believe in second place! In the pistol world its Seecamp both are a joy to own and use . That is why their products don't sell cheap,my only mistake was not buying sooner :( That's why I own more than one !
