Yep, Sweet got the first one, and I got the second, days apart. The one I've got my eye on is the one two over to the right of that one; the hill walnut M43 by Bura. I have a hill walnut copy by Kumar, but there is just something about that particular Bura one...!

25" Kobra, 25" Siru or two... 3 seax, 2 trisuls... wood AK bowie, and I remember that part antler, part horn job... 20" chainpuri..

Really nice...

What is that bottom sword? It has the guard of a manjushree, but the handle looks more functional...

And, what material is the khukuri sixth from the right on the top row (next to the seaxes?

Is the walnut handled M43 the one to the right with the larger handle? The M43 on the left looks a lot like the smaller horn handle on a Sher I received off an exchange sale a while back.

SASSAS, Ad Astra mentioned a part horn, part antler handle. I would assume that you've found it, next to the seaxes.:o

Sweet Sweet! Um speechless...

How about a pic of the blades too!!!!!!! Since you've already got us salavating.

The bottom sword is a Manjushri. Some of the early ones had different carving, and this was the very first one made. The carving was far more intricate on this first model. I have the first carved chandan manjushri, and the second carved horn (Dave has the first), but the carving is just the "regular" nice work. I think they found this one too time intensive.

I remember this one very clearly, as I tried to snag it and Sweet sharked me. That was while I was still a clueless sharking newbie, and unaware of what a predator I had here next to me in Salinas. :D He'd have to try a bit harder today. ;)

Here is the link from the 11/15/04 Deals; good pics of it here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=321448&highlight=manjushree

I did manage to snag that Osage Orange Kobra though, which is a great knife.

The 3 M-43's are L-R antler, satisal and hill walnut, with the walnut one being next to Sweet's new Sher attitude model. That is the whole cool thing about that M43 is that it is made by Bura which is rare in and of itself, but also has a longer handle. Of all the kamis Bura knows the value of a longer handle.

However Kumar's M43 handles have always fit me well. I have a hill walnut M43 from him with beautiful wood, but the slightly shorter handle.
