Obsidian Knife

Wood, bone, shaped stone, jade have all been used. People have used sinew or tree resin to fix the blade.

Make a haft from a piece of wood. Carve a notch for the blade, and secure with cord and pine pitch glue.
 
Cool. Now all I have to do is make the blade which will be sort of hard being the fact that I can't find my knapping tools. I'm pretty sure they're in a box somewhere.
 
3 Rivers Archery has gut hafting and pine pitch if you need a source for those items. I love the look of obsidian blades. Can't wait to see your results. :thumbup:
