Thanks for posting the website listings. Interesting to note that someone is actually making production obsidian knives. Not only are they beautiful they're also about the sharpest thing going. Among anthropologists/students there's the old legend about the archaeologist who needed to have eye surgery. He went to the surgeon and requested that they use an obsidian blade instead of the scapel. They refused until he brought in a home made glass knife and forced them to compare the edges under a microscope. At which point they decided to go with obsidian. Maybe an urban myth, but I got it from one of my Professors who is usually a reliable info source. Just a testimonial to the cutting power of glass. Cool stuff.
