I already posted this on the general forums but it was suggested I move this here. Sorry for the repeat, but any help would be most appreciated.

I was curious how one could get an "Orange Peel" like finish on Titanium(Like on the bolster of the BM 330)
My buddy has one of the Pinnacles and wants to put a better "grip" on it.
Anything he or I can do or do we need to send it out to be done?
TIA for any and all suggestions.

Orange peel is generally a result of to much buffing. The softer metal goes away and the harder stays so you get a grainy look. You might try it on purpose.

I sure can vouch for that statement!!! Ruined many a blade by over buffing em. Thank the Lord I found the forums and learned how to buff on my grinder!

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!
