I just picked up my OCC Leek at the post office this morning. First impressions are: I'm Impressed! Beautiful Kershaw/OCC tin, and the knife is a work of art. There's too much to describe here, so hopefully tomorrow if I have some time, I'll get pics up.

This one is a safe queen, no doubt! Very nice work Thomas!

BTW, question for Thomas: what's the total run number on this one? If it's really low, I just might have to get another one.

SPXTrader, I was hoping someone would post some good picts of the OCC leek. Can't quite decide if I need it or not, they might convince me!

Bob S, this is, to me, not a "need" knife...it's more of a "I WANT IT"...It really is a beautiful knife. I don't think I could ever bring myself to actually cut something with it...might mar the OCC logo on the blade!

I'll try to get the pics up tomorrow...

Well I'll admit need and want is about the same to me when it comes to knives, I'm way way past needing anymore but still try to rationalize my purchases for some reason. LOL
I think I'm what you call an accumulater.

I was going to place my order for one just a few minutes ago while I was also
ordering the CB Leek.......My son said "NO!! Your birthday is in 3 weeks." ;)

I soooooooo love my son!! :)

Now, if those RAMs will just start shipping I'll be set.... for a few months anyway. :D

Nice pick up!
I got the impression the OCC Leeks were going to be a regular production item.
I'd expect popularity will be a determining factor in the end.

Of course I might have it mixed up with another knife.

You guys know I'm not the best photographer, but here are a few to stoke the 'ol appetite!!:D

That's a reflection from my monitor. I noticed that too, it would look good in blue:D

really though, it would look best in a color fade to black, like many paintball guns have.

I can't recall any knife with fade colors offhand. (rainbow finish maybe?) but if would look good. If somehow you figured out a cost-effective way to do it (much less price change to put a fade on a $1500 gun than a $50 knife) I would buy all of them. You could even do an OD to black for ZT

Thanks for taking some pics, It looks better to me now, somehow pictures on the internet knife vendors sites never really give me the best angles to make a decision. The actual colors seem to differ to.

Thanks for the pics, (Ooops) JM...I'd seen the knife pictured 2 different ways, one way like it is in your actual pics with the OCC blade logo larger and centered vertically on the blade, and another way with the logo smaller and up by the thumbstud (preproduction concept?).

I like it either way, but this way best...just ordered one!

Thanks for the pics, SPX. Truly a great design...total class...this could have been really tacky if not done right, but Kershaw really came through (as always)!

Looks like I'll have order one for my son, the motorcycle maniac! He's the one who turned me on to the American Chopper in the first place. I think the blur would also look great as an OCC knife and done up the same way.

Have you seen the Blur OCC design? Different, but still pretty cool...orange (red?) goodness!

Edit: removed image link because it's considered a leeched image and against the rules...will repost another later.
