Occasional slowdowns...

For the last few days, I have been having occasional slow downs with the forum.
A few times it has taken so long for the forum to come up, it shows the link to BF's is not working.

This morning it has some delays as well. Anyone else having this problem ?
It has been working great up until recently.
 
It happens to me pretty regularly the last few days. It took over a minute for the Gadgets and Gear subforum to open just a few minutes ago.
 
That makes me feel better.
I was hoping it wasn't something on my end. I didn't think it was, because everything else seems to be working fine.
 
due to the weather, lots of people home on computer lookin at BF, porn, and more porn. kinda like a traffic jam. :D

It has been pretty slow for me the last couple weeks as well. I have had a few occasions where BF timed out and it isn't uncommon to get 50 second search times.
 
Me too! I didn't see anyone else complain so I thought it was just me. I cleared my cookies and history - no luck.
 
Yep, lags are rearing their ugly heads again especially for the last week.
 
Is my local ISP screwing me or has BF been inaccessible since 11:00 pm EST???
 
I had a "bladeforums.com is taking to long to respond" message from 8:50 pm to 9:46 pm MST.

It's not just you or your ISP (unless you're on Comcast too). It began lagging for a few minutes before 10:50PM est., them constant time-outs for the next hour or so.
 
hair-tearing frustration, I've just given up several times. Seems ok now though?

I was unable to get on the site this morning for a while and it's been a bit sticky on and off for the last week or so.
