Is it OCD when you carry more than one traditional slipjoint to want the covers on each knife to match if possible?
For example: If your primary slipjoint is something with say smooth yellow covers, would you want the others to have smooth yellow, as well? (and possibly be the same brand).

I got my Taylor/BTI Old Timer 858OTB to open without having to fight with it. (PB Blaster got the crud out of the joints)
Now I want to get a 25OT (2blade) Folding Hunter and 11OT canoe with Saw Cut Delrin to go with it, when I carry the 858OTB.

Is that "normal"?

Yes it's a bit obsessive and I don't ever think too much about it. ( not really OCD which sadly people do actually suffer from )

But there's nothing wrong with that, I'll occasionally do a matching Buck pair but usually the only thing on me that matches is my boots and my socks ;)

I'd never really thought about it. Now I am. Oh boy! Thanks, I think?:D;)

Obsessive compulsive disorder? Nah, only if you want them all evenly spaced with the shields facing the same direction and the same stamp fonts. Lol.
I think it’s normal cause I catch myself thinking that way sometimes... Then again I’m known as kind of an odd duck. Lol

How boring. My knives aren't a set of daisho. If I carry more than one knife, they'll offer me a selection. Not just in blade shapes, but also in handle covers.

Yes, mild OCD, not psychotic, but borderline neurotic if you notice it being unmatched and are compelled to fix it before you leave the house. "Normal" is a setting on your washing machine not a mental state :)

When putting my socks and shoes on, I have to do my left foot first. Always. If I'm distracted and somehow put the right on first, I swear it feels different when I stand, and I have to take off my socks and shoes and put them on "correctly".

Incessantly carrying my Peanut and AAA flashlight at all times sans sleeping is closest I come to triggering actual OCD.

Yes, I'm a crazy person.
