Anyone have one of these, or know anything about them? Seems like an incredible bargain at $38

A pic and specs can be seen HERE

$38! Whoa...Beta Ti...looks like a deal. Where can you find em?
Thanks,
Matt

$38!!! Where did it say $38? Hell yeah that's a good deal. I don't care how well their titanium holds an edge. For $38 it's more than worth it :)

Yep, $38 seems like a bargain. I had to email them, and finally got a reply, and that is the price they quoted me.

Unfortunately, even at a cheap $38, it is going to be awhile before I can buy one.

Thanks for the dealers link. There is a store five minutes from where I live, think I'll stop in and see if they have any. For that price I'll pick one up. If it sucks then off to the trash can it goes, lol If not, then that's a great deal :)

I haven't ever played with the Oceanmaster folder but I have tried out the fixed blade and it is basically junk. It may be a beta alloy of some sort but it is definitely not as hard as they claim. The Rockwell C is only in the 30s. The design of the folder is a blatant knock off of the Benchmade Ascent (ATS-34 blade) which sells for $75. The knife is a bargain in the same way any other cheap knockoff of a Spyderco, Benchmade etc. is. Having a cheap titanium blade basically just adds some novelty value to a knife that would otherwise be $10 with a 420 blade.
