great show as usual, tons of fun! This year i decided to take pics to share. Unfortunately most of them were too poor to post, so here's what I've got left alas.
First - products that impressed me.
#1 - Spydie nirvana THIS THING IS AMAZING!!!! I was nicely allowed to take an in-hand pic. Feels GREAT, looks GREAT, gonna be GREAT!
#2 - Diaz neck knife. Looks odd but is outstanding. Great ergos, very light, and also thin with a full flat grind so great as a slicer. I don't need one so did not pick one up but it's nagging me, gotta get one eventually. Really a great practical design, best necker I saw of the many many at the show IMHO.
#3 - Olamic Cutlery. Their knives are SMOOTH and I didn't realize that you can totally customize them any way you want - very cool.
Something I didn't like was the "Grateful Edge" sharpening service. I paid $7 for a "3k grit" EdgePro sharpening job on an HK 14715 in D2 since I was curious how it would do. It was working sharp but needed a touch-up. After I picked it up the guy cut paper to show it was sharp, and the edge looked pretty . . . but walking away I discovered it was nowhere near able to shave arm hair. They think that's worth $7?? I don't blame the system just the operator. Went home and fixed it myself.
