Bladeforum Posts October 2017

Last year I made a tally of the forum posts made in October, and I decided to do that again for October 2017.

In October, 154 people made 1410 posts on bladeforum, not counting posts in the Sunday Picture Show. There were 58 new threads. The year individuals joined the forum ranged from 1999 to 2017. Of those 154 people, 41 % joined the forum in 2012 or later and made 45 % of the posts. Approximately 39% of the people who posted in 2017 also posted in 2016. Looked at another way, roughly 66 % of the people who posted in 2016 did not post in 2017.

The number of posts per individual ranged from 1 to 127 with an average of about 9 posts per person. However, that average is pretty much meaningless; about 64 % of the people made 5 posts or less, and the most common (33 %) number of posts per individual was 1. That average contrasts with the fact that 4 people made 29 % of all posts on the forum (127, 125, 93, and 61).

For the Sunday Picture Show, 42 people made 211 posts. Roughly half of the people who posted in 2017 also posted in the SPS in 2016. About half of the posts were made by people who joined the forum in 2012 or later. Approximately 30% of the posts were made by two individuals. All but 5 of the individuals who posted in the SPS, also posted in the main Buck forum.

Adding the SPS and the rest of the forum gives a total of 1621 posts by 159 different people.

Well, and the winner is????
I'm guessing Makael or David....

My quick count shows I'm not in contention with only 7 started threads and 45 total posts for October.

I've been a member since 2001!

After a great deal of consideration, I have come to the conclusion that I need to get a life and leave Blade Forums until later day. :D

I wonder if Tapatalk no longer being supported after the upgrade had anything to do with the decrease. It made everything so much easier.
