I have OD Green Ladybug & Delica models and would love to add a matching Endura to complete the set. Either plain or serrated and either new or used would be fine. Any leads would be gratefully appreciated. TIA.

Good question, Red. Actually, the buddy who gave me the OD green Lady Bug & Delica seems to recall seeing other OD green handled Spydies in the display case at the time. However, it is several years ago and he can't be sure.

How about it, Sal -- was the Endura ever produced in OD Green?

Red,
Yes, there were green Enduras, both plain and serrated. I beleive they were dicontinued in 1995.

Something I noticed about my old OD green Delica was that it really disappeared in the pocket. The neutral color kept it from standing out as much as black does when wearing denim, khaki, etc. Now that the pocket clips are all metal, it's kinda pointless for me to want an OD Endura, but I shoulda got one when I had the chance.

Greg, I know what you mean about the way the OD green clip can disappear in a pocket. Unfortunately, my Delica clip has loosened to the point where the whole knife has tried to disappear a few times. (It was stuck in our Christmas tree once from the time we brought it home until the day we threw it out.) I have an OD Concealex Delica neck sheath on order from Mike Sastre so the problem of it trying to get lost should be a thing of the past.

Since, as John noted, these were discontinued prior to '98, any that are available should have the plastic clip. Now, the only problem is finding them.

Red - I'll check the customer service pieces. Might have a used one around somewhere.

Brian, sorry, reading too fast, senior moment. I'll see what is around. Sorry Red.

Thanks, Sal. Unfortunately, I know about those "senior moments" myself.

Brian - Found an old serrated one. G2 stainless (Which is the same as GIN1). It's used but in decent shape, lock is sound. Clip was broken. Keith put a black metal clip on it. Send $15 to Childrens Hospital in Denver for Spyderco and Danelle will send it to you.

Thanks VERY much, Sal. I really appreciate it. I'll contact Danelle directly to work out the details.

Hey Sal, I've been looking all over for a platinum-handled Police, encrusted with rubies, diamonds, and sapphires. Got any of those around?

Just wanted to publicly thank Sal & his whole crew as well as give a special word of praise to the Keith & the service dept staff. If I didn't know there had originally been a plastic clip, I would swear the metal clip was original equipment. The repair is that good.

P.S. Thanks also for the platinum-handled Police, Sal. My wife just loves it.
