This is part of my thread asking if one could dye G10. Thanks to every who replied. Here is what it looked like before...

And the new look after dying and soaking in solvent to remove excess and lock the color in.

The blue soaked in a little heavy around the lock area, and you really can only see it in the right light, but overall I'm VERY pleased with the result.

It went in a lot of different directions before I got it right... I tried some orange at first knowing that a ton of Orange/Yellow and a touch of Blue/Green was what I needed. First it came out a rust color, then a brownish olive that was too dark... so I used the Rit Color remover and it turned like a Key Lime Olive color... they I hit it with two packs of Lemon Yellow and just a dash of royal blue and got my final color. Soaked it in rubbing alcohol to pull out any excess and scrubbed it with a toothbrush. That should lock the color in pretty well. Here are some of the other colors it turned out before I was happy...

The rust color was actually kinda cool.

Looks good Keith! I like the rust color too; the foliage green is kinda bland so anything is an improvement IMO...

I'm still bummed that black G10 can't be bleached a bit to add different colours to give it extra pop. :(

Yeah, luckily foliage is kinda bright so you got options. Part of me wishes I had left it the Rust color... looks pretty badass in hindsight.
