ok i got this sheath the other day in the mail
i have not seen one with the 110 on the strap
it is OLD and like New ...
buck on the flap and not on the snap
what you all think ?

Stock sheath from Atcheson (sp?) leather, who made sheaths for Buck from 1967 to partway through 1969. You see more of them with fixed blade models.

That sounds correct to me.

I've never seen a 110 sheath by them, but it sure looks like that's exactly what it is.

Nice find.

:)

yes i was glad to get it !
worth what i paid
knew it was a odd one and real to boot
and that it is like new almost
shows no sign of being on a belt at any time

RLF, I don't know who you are but welcome and you have good information . Hope you hang around and post more often . I agree about the 110 sheath . Those are the divot sheaths and that stamping is rare . The no Buck on snap is the give away as only one company did them that way . (as stated) At the 20yr. reunion Joe H. put them mfg. for Buck in 1967-68 . Which to me is close enough . When we can get within a few months after 40yrs. I think thats really good . DM ;)

Is it the low cut sheath as well Dave? When you list the flap is it cut down for easy knife insertion and removal like others from thart time period?thanks.

no it is the high cut pouch and for some reason i expected a low cut
first thought i was it may have been made by some one
for their knife.. my one brother used to do great leather work
and i bought it any way thinking that
but on getting it in hand .. thought no this is real ...
