My guess , it came from one of the shows. Maybe blade show or knob creek , etc. A blank they had or they made a few of that steel stock for a show.
Whatever it’s a great knife with that thickness and grind 🙂👍

There’s some ASH aficionados here, I’m sure one will chime in soon.

Leather Squisher Duramax is on to something;
Might be a ASH LE that got coated for a show I have had those before.
The coating and not grinding down to satin would add to make it up to the .27"

Not a skinny ASH
not a FAT ASH
must be a between ASH ;)

Brother Brown knows about some ASH...and that's a fine ASH for sure ;)

Yep, duramax was on to something…
I just looked back at communication with E Evansc19 (seller) & he thought the original owner purchased it at Blade 2012-2014 or Knob. Real pleasure dealing with him, a great guy. (duramax is awesome too)

Nuker Nuker I went back to my old posts and figured out jazub jazub was the original owner. He could tell you exactly where they came from. But from what I recall, he told me that that it came from a show. Around 2014 or so if I remember correctly but don’t quote me on that.

I have a sabre ground but it’s .32. I have them in .17, .18, .20, .22, .25 and .32. If I was to have bug one made ;) it would be around the .25. But various of my .32s get the most time outside, because they make me grin !!
