well I was digging through the safe and I came across a box I had not opened in a while there sat 3 Ek Knives that I had forgot about. back when Blackjack was taking over Ek knives they found a little stash of original Richmond Va blades with no handles so Blackjack put handles on them stamped them Effingham IL and sold them... you can tell Blackjack did not grind them because the grind lines are strait and smooth...well my friend who is a big time knife dealer bought all them up he could because they were Original EK blades so I am wondering if anyone else has some odd ball Ek like this I was toying with selling them but I haven't a clue as to what they are worth.. they have the 1982-1993 Richmond EK commando logo but are stamped Effingham IL..

Any Ideas?

Damn - you must have a killer safe if that box was forgotten about!!

I'm envious.:D

Those look like the knives that Cutlery Shoppe was selling years ago. I'm talking at least 15 years ago, maybe more. I vaguely remember them having a bunch of EK knives with different handles that what I usually saw and thought they were neat. Until I got that edition of their catalog, I'd only seen EK knives with paracord and micarta grips.
