Odd Knife? Recommendations?

Hey guys, my friend is getting into quality blades and he likes kinda odd designs, like he is very drawn to this one..


He is gonna buy this one BTW

but he is looking for a folder...

his price range is about 100ish

he kinda likes tantos

anyone know of anything? Any ideas would be helpful...

Spyderco captain, and Kershaw Groove Tanto are both a little different.

Maybe he'd like the top one, Spyderco Kuhkri discontinued and on sale now at Knife Center for 75.

Captain is discontinued as well and on sale for around 90, it's more of a tanto and very sharp.

Might take a look at the ZT0400. It has a very sleek tanto blade. A little over $100, but worth it. Actual price is $120. Btw, it has S30V blade steel.

haven't handled one, but the kershaw e.t. is definitely a little different
