Odd request but.......

Could someone post a pic of the becker crewmman and the companion side by side. Then side by side in their respective shealths? Trying to get an idea of the different between the 2, in how the handle and feel. Got a crewman, so hance the comparing.

Thats a big help! So the companion is slightly shorter then the crewman. Is it easier to carry cause of the compact shealth? What would you choose for everyday carry out of the 2?
 
I used to carry the Campanion daily, used it at work a lot. I have not carried the Crewman as much but would say the Campanion is a little more comfortable because of the sheath. I am thinking of modifying a Pocket Niteze pouch to hold the Crewman. It slices very well and is tough, also is easier to use cutting due to the the thinner edge. The crewman seems a little better at the everday carry utility. If I needed a knife that was indestructable, I would go with the Campanion(My favorite of the Beckers).

Cool! Gonna have to pick one up sometime. Can't afford it right now, or rather can't afford to buy another knfe I won't use. I like the shealth on the companion.

Wish there was a "try before you buy" shop for knives:cool:
 
So now I think I NEED a companion..first the winter..or in case the wind is blowing.:D


Where is the cheapest/safest place to buy one? From one of our lovely forumties?
