The last few hundred have been, before that I used an 8'' wheel.

Thnx for the answer.
Do you notice a disinct difference between the blades made on your 14" wheel compared to the 8" wheel?

I'm sure it's a great tool, but I think the blade shape looks a little... inappropriate for a slippy.

Sure there is a difference, a knife ground on a 14'' wheel is almost like a flat grind. One done on a 8'' wheel is more like a hollow grind would be.

You think that is because they didn't make them a 100 years ago and it just looks odd? Or is it you just don't like it?

I do appreciate the replies,

Not to be disrespectfull, but to understand better:
If a 14" wheel gives a grind almost like a flat grind, why use a flat grind?

I realy appreciate a maker like yourself explaining why you make things the way you make them.

Can't say that I have, but I kind of like the profile.
I would like it as a small secondary blade on a Jack Knife, but straight blades like a Wharncliffe, Sheepsfoot etc.. don't appeal to me as a main blade as a rule*. It also might be a little too fine at the tip as a utility knife.

*Swayback Jack being the exception:D
