Dan Keffeler deserves some credit for the killer Delta 3V heat treatment, and those comfy handles you love on the CPK LightChopper.

The original handle design for the light chopper, as I designed it, wasn't quite right, and it was Dan's input that pushed it over the top in order to create one of the most ergonomically friendly hard use knife handles on the market.

The Delta 3V heat treatment, developed by CPK and Peter's Heat Treat, was informed heavily by Dan's experience as a competitive cutter.

Dan's constant pursuit of performance is a constant source of inspiration to us, as is his friendly and honest character.

Thanks Dan! You're the best :)

I thought that this looked very familiar!

Yeah, Dan Keffeler helped out with significant help on our handle design and cutting geometry specifics, and he's the guy that really turned me on to TeroTuf, he even sent me some to experiment with. Dan has been a big influence on our work and his contribution is greatly appreciated. He's also one hell of a cool guy. I always look forward to a phone call with Dan because I know I'm going to laugh until my sides ache.

I believe that his knives are at the absolute highest levels of performance. I really respect his accomplishments.

This is quite an endorsement coming both from you and Lorin

We are very happy to learn more about the people involved in your designs and productions :)

Note that in one of the comments on Dan's IG page, someone yet again is asking if that "Knoife" is a full tang? In every Amazon knife question, someone inevitably asks that question!

Is this a new thing or a sign of blissful ignorance? What are some of these folks expecting on a "Knoife" that size? No tang? Rat tail tang? Plastic tang? How many other combos are there specially when the pummel is sticking out like that?

we should be able to squeeze a ride in before then, I hope. Get that passport, dude! Your dollar is kicking ass up here. I will show you and Jeff and Ranger some sweet places.
