Ode to my Endura

Just for fun and to record the historic transfer of my EDC from a 2010 Endura to a 2014 Sage II - both great ones - can't say the same for the poet

My Spyderco Endura has been retired from EDC duty,
replaced by a Titanium Sage II, a classic small beauty.

Still, the Endura is sharp and not looking for vacation,
just me thinking t’was time for a knife variation.

The photos show clear that there’s still much Endurability
Though my pockets fared less well, being clipped with impunity.

Sadly no relief is in sight for the much abused jeans,
the Sage II and its clip will be no less hard on the seams.

Perhaps I should stop buying Spyderco pocket clip folders
making room in my budget for some new pants as holders.

Nah - no fun in that.
:D

I might be hurt here - still thinking on it. That had some sting to it :D.

Where are the Vogons when you need them?

Hehe good memories. :)

Nice seeing some love for the Endura. That was one of my first Spydercos and have worn more than one out, given away and lost a few along the line too and I always come back. I'll never be without at least one.

Very nice. And good work on EDC'ing a G10 Endura. Too many crybabies don't use their knives. Drives me NUTS.

Though I own no Endura or Sage
I'm down with the Spyderco craze

I tried to start slow
Blue Persistence, you know?
Now I want more every day

We might be on to something here - The Spyderco Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings Club. Got a nice - er, I mean, ominous ring to it. :)

I know, it pisses me off what people do with their own property.

Hey, I'm all for doing whatever makes you happy, but I just don't get that mentality. Reminds me of people who excessively baby their non-antique guns. Like the 50yo guys who take a training course with their antiquated 1911 and get all huffy puffy when they get a scratch on it, lol.

Nice, the G10 Endura is my favorite Spyderco - and I've got quite a few. It's really a perfectly balanced model, and it's the one knife I own that everyone I show likes.

Glad to see yours has served you well. It's funny, I've been EDCing my G10 Endura every day for a year, and just today I swapped it out for SB Endura with custom G10 scales.

Needless to say, I'll have to work on a suitable poem now ;)

I say, props to anyone that can get the word Endura, in a poem...kinda like the word "orange",...it doesn't rhyme well...
