She often wonders what to get me, you guys unwittingly helped her in the past (thanx I might add) I saw and paid the package at the door, It's a Chris Reeve Sable!!!...: eek: :foot:

My Wife has supported me getting a Strider SnG, Chris Reeve, E.R MPC, ReKAT, bla bla bla.
In truth (and I know I am going to say a Blade forums Blasphamy here...) I got more knives than I can use. She sometimes gets as excited as I do about getting a new shiney, pointy thing. :p (she calls it Man jewelry)

This thread is in appreciation of all the spouses n' partners and there support or maybe even just acceptance. :D

Sounds like you got yourself a keeper!

Well, I don't have as great of stories as you guys. I'm 22, not married, but I've been with my girlfriend for almost 3 years now. She and I were not into knives when we first got together, but I got into it which could be scary as a new thing to a girlfriend, but she's okay with it, and she even clips a SS PE Cricket to her RF pocket every single day. I'm purty proud!

I've been having a hard time financially, stressing over financial obligations and debt these past few months but still gave in to the knife thing...
just spent a good amount (relatively speaking) on a new Benchmade and a custom Lightfoot.
As I sat, working out my finances with my head in my hands, I asked myself (and then my girlfriend) what my problem was.
I needed a new EDC in the Benchmade, my Kershaw was beat, but the Lightfoot was a strain and probably a bad decision at the moment.
Despite all this my girlfriend just gave me a kiss and said "You're so funny, $500 on a knife. But baby, it's something you've wanted. Don't worry."
Supportive, even in sickness.
It's a special thing.

Cheers to the other half!! Mine doesn't necessarily understand why I need so many knives, but supports me,AND buys me sharp & pointy things!!

Hey Ric...

Well that works for the first 25 knives or so...

After that they just get mad!

After 100-150 they give up on you!
200 your a lost cause...

I know this for a fact!!!
