UPS claims that my first two Fiddlebacks (and first customs!) wrapped nicely in some TF leather are peacefully sitting in a box on my front porch, probably being a resting place for the cats, while I'm stuck at work until 8 o'clock tonight! :eek: This is what I get for updating the UPS tracking site every 5 min for the last two days :jerkit:
 
Haha, but it's fun aint it? I have the bad habit of tracking packages too often as well. Delivery confirmation is a curse and a blessing!
 
I'll admit, I can't wait to get home, but my productivity at work has been shot...Andy, do you help with unemployment? :D
 
Where do you live? I'll go pick them up and bring them to you. *evil grin*

When I read the first part my heart stopped - I was SO hoping that you were going to say that they were not lost or damaged!

Did you get them?

I am not sure about the crappy knives - but those sheaths turned out GREAT! ;)

Man, I can't find anything else in my house to cut...this isn't good. I'm gonna get in trouble! The knives are awesome! Handles so nice, the wife is gonna get jealous if I don't stop holding them :eek:. 10 swipes on a plain leather strop had them both shaving sharp. The fit and finish are amazing. I love these sheaths. I'm going to have to work up a review with some pictures for everyone to drool over. Couldn't be happier. :D

Andy, I hope you realize I'm going to beat the snot out of this woodsman...:p. It begs to be used.

I've been waiting for this post. If you hadn't said something after the build-up, I was going to send Vito and Diesel after you to "learn you stuff," about teasing.

So...not just shaving fuzz sticks, but maybe lean-to with nylon assist, instead of cutting branches and all that, then, probably a fishing spear, then maybe a cudgel of some sort, maybe a cooking rotisserrie, and possibly an atlatl. The bow and arrows can come later. :D


Not often hopes and reality come together so well, eh? Nice.

GREAT!! I've been so anxious about how long it took for you to get those. Yikes! They really did come out sweet!! Pics please!:D
