Over the years I have met many people in this industry. Some outspoken and some who merely speak out loud. A philosophy is developed when a man fine tunes his life's ambition to provide a quality product to those who need them most. Spyderco, through the leadership and direction of Sal Glesser, has achieved a level of admiration which is to be a standard by which all others are measured. Making products for specific needs and not measuring the profit, but knowing you are supplying what a EMT needs, a police officer, a diver or whatever speaks volumes about the man behind the product.

After meeting with Sal several times I believe I have met a man who I shall view as a mentor.
