MK-3 Trench Knife...still being made?.....And if so, whose got 'em? Also, what's the going rate for a Buck (Camillus made) California Toothpick.....I saw one for about $40. Thanks!

You can get the Camillus commemorative M-3 with gold accents at http://www.crknives.com/ comes with the early WWII style paratrooper sheath.

There's a place that advertises in Shotgun News every issue that I think is called Charlie's Surplus or Charlie's Military or something like that. Runs two full pages of stuff. He has the standard Camillus made M-3 for $40. It comes with a real nice sheath but if you want the the paratrooper style M-3 sheath with wire belt hook and tie downs Charlie can add a nice repro of those for another $ 9. Charlie is a good guy to deal with. They supplied a lot of the clothing for Band of Brothers.

These knives are both made by Camillus, are first quality and only differ from the original WWII issue knives in that they use only one pin instead of two to hold on the butt cap. This wasn't done to save money. It was done so people couldn't pass these off as WWII knives.

I just received a Camillus M3 from Brigade( http://www.brigadequartermasters.com ). Nice knife and sheath(the leg tie is actually leather, not the usual 550 cord!). I going to rub in some Pecards leather dressing into the sheath to keep it in good shape. The knife doesn't come in a box though(like my Camillus USAF Survival and USMC Combat). It comes in a plastic bag for some reason.
