You guessed it, another tale of porch generosity. Most of you will remember that a couple weeks ago porch member Woodrow F. Call in a tremendous fit of generosity held a GAW in which he took the knife right out of his pocket and passed it along. Well after reading the first page of his thread I moved on to read other threads while thinking what a great treat it is to spend time here with such wonderful men and women. After reading thru my usual subscribed threads I moved on to the exchange to see what treasures where there when I saw a thread for a new in the box Case 6375...the very knife Captn' Call was going to give away once he found a replacement! It was too perfect...a chance to say thanks to two great BF members at the same time. So I did what each and everyone of you would have done in that situation, I purchased the knife and asked the seller ( I won't name him as I haven't asked his permission yet) if he would be so kind as to get it where I felt it belonged.
I then contacted Woodrow and let him know it was on the way. Then the gracious man said thank you and that it meant he would give another knife away as he had just that day ordered himself a new knife to replace the one in his GAW! So he recieved both my knife and the one he bought, gave away his favorite knife, put the one I had sent him in his pocket and gave away the brand new one ( maybe not yet?)he had just purchased! What a guy! But wait, this man then contacted me for my correct mailing address because he felt he had something that I would really like and yesterday I recieved this wonderful yeller nut you see pictured here. All I can say is wow. Thank you Jake for being who you are. You truely help make this place the amazing place it is!!

Thanks for sharing the back-story. You and the capt'n are class acts.

Big fan of my peanut, but man all these yeller-nuts around here lately are making me crave another. Enjoy!

Clay, Woodrow-thanks to both of you! Being the lucky recipient of Woodrow's favorite knife, all I can say is that this place is amazing in it's generosity. I won a gold membership from R Redden, and am going to try to make the most of it, selling some knives I don't use and using that income for new knives I like. It's obvious I'll have to do at least one giveaway as well, but when and what I don't know yet. The porch never seems to stop welcoming people with its warm embrace, that's a huge reason why it's so great around here.
Thanks, Neal

Great story and really sums up what this place is all about! Props to both of you Jake and Clay.

Day three with this great little knife and I gotta say I'm hooked. Just got back from the range and that thin little blade worked wonders turning boxes into target backers!

It is amazing how that works, isn't it?

The last time I had two yellow nuts, it took two months and a great Urologist in order to return to normal!

You actually clean a Glock?!?!?!?!? ;)

I actually know a guy from another forum. He shoots quite a bit... does three gun, USPSA, etc... and he's been shooting the same Glock (Can't remember if it's a 19 or 17) for years and years. Never cleans it. Never. It's kind of a badge of honor for him at this point.

Lol VERY RARELY! This was this weapons shakedown cruise so out of the box, 300 rounds down range, gun scrubber then a bit of clip...should be good for 3-4 thousand rounds!
