Off center blade tenacious

I have had my tenacious for a week or two and i love it, it is what I consider a cheap beater knife. It seems like ever two to three days I have to use my torc on the pivot screw to tighten it back into the correct blade center position when closed. If I don't tighten the pivot the blade tends to go more and more off center until I do. It isn't a huge deal and happens slowly so I am not alarmed. However i would like to know if this kind of upkeep is normal with the tenacious ( how many people experience this. ) Thanks. Oh and it has no blade play at all.

use some Loctite on the pivot screw. I use the low strength purple Loctite

It's more common with cheaper knives rather than more expensive knives.
I would do some loc-tite on the pivot and that should stop it from loosening, which should fix the centering.

I've taken my tenacious through some really rough chores and I've never had to touch the pivot screw. that said, a little loc tite should fix you up though.
