Off-centered tip on E4w

I have an Endura 4w I received from NG a couple days ago. it's a great knife. Now that I have played with it a couple days, I've noticed something I overlooked...the tip isn't centered. The blade itself is dead centered in the handle(and when opened), but the grinds are at uneven angles as they taper into the tip, leaving a tip that is biased to the left, enough to be visible (a 32d, 64th of an inch?...sorry, no camera). It does not hit the handle/liners when closing unless you have a good squeeze going on it, and then it's a quick scrape. Maybe i'm being anal, but you think I should sweat it? I don't get a chance to pick up a new knife every day, and this one was a lusted item. Now I feel a bit let down.(I still respect Spyderco.) I'm not sure if this is a QC problem, or a OCD problem. Even if I pretend it doesn't bother me, I wonder if it will give me grief re-sharpening it. Any suggestions, reassurances are appreciated. Thanks guys-

Kyle, personally it wouldn't bother me, but it is your knife and your money. Give NG a call on Monday if it is still bothering you (or whenever they are open from 4th July). If it is still bothering you by then, it will bother you forever.

Would agree with ZH with one exception, I would suggest calling Spyderco, rather than NGK. If it's an issue at all, it's a QC issue with the knife, and Spyderco is really the only place that can evalute that.

It's not a limited edition. I bought it to use, so I'm going to overlook the imperfection. I'm just way too nitpicky. I looked at it again this morning, and noticed that the bottom 1" of the handle is kinda kicked to the left. It helped make me see the misaligned tip for worse than it is. Now I believe the tip is less 'off' than before. Thanks for your responses-

Kyle
