I recently got the Off-Grid Knives Rhino and love it, so now im considering getting the their Enforcer XL model. It’s currently offered in D2, but they announced they’re coming out with a second version in 154CM. Which would be more appropriate for outdoor usage? I’m mostly going to be using it for things like yard work, general stuff while hiking/camping, etc.

If it was CPM-154 I'd go for that. Plain old 154-CM is meh IMHO, judging by my Grippie and Emerson in that steel. It may be the thick grinds of those two knives, but I'd prefer D2 for its superior edge holding.

D2. Should hold an edge longer. It turns greyish with use but doesn’t stain easily, so that wouldn’t be a concern to me. It can be tricky to sharpen, but once you get it sharp it stays that way a long time.
