Well its that time of year again for me to hit the migrant harvest circuit.

If all goes well ill head east for the sugar beet harvest in eastern Montana and then to western Washington to bring in cranberry's for Oceanspray.

Wish me luck folks, if all goes well ill be back in 8 weeks or in jail, anyway I spin it ill be doing something! :D

Be safe out there. Bring a laptop and steal the local wi-fi (it's everywhere now) to keep us up to date.

wait a minute..this guy is heading off to work in the fields and everyone is telling him to have fun? or are you telling him to have fun in an unheated boxcar headed north where the temps are dippin down to the thirties. Am I missing something?

travelin by train= fun no matter what you do
Yea I have often thought what it would be like to hop a train. the town i live in here in Idaho was built on the timber and railroad industries. At least 20 trains roll through here a day. Mostly Burlington Northern trains. As I type this I can hear one in the distance. Sometimes you will hear a horn blow far off, and it will echo from mountain to mountain to mountain...very cool to listen to at night

Be safe Wider. My grandpa used to hop trains when he was young. Thought about it before myself.

Yeah I love the sounds the trains making, for me it's like a mother calling you home for dinner, or the sounds of wind blowing in a wheat field. It's peaceful and welcoming.

Wow. Just wow. Living free... good luck

Thanks folks I roll out this morning... finishing packing now.
