Off once again

This time it's 30 days at sunny Ft. Lewis, WA. Detainee ops training. I will be back around the 23rd of October. Hold the fort down for me guys.

I am bringing a Microtech medium UDT for cutting chores and my Spydie Sharpmaker.
I don't think we have computer access, so see ya in a month. I am taking a bunch of vacation time when I get back from this before I go to Iraq.

I live about 7 miles from Ft. Lewis. The weather is beautiful right now. Next week, well, no bets on that one!

Sounds like fun. Ft. Lewis is my home base.

Make sure you get up to Seattle. Lot's to do up there and so much fun.

Hi. I'm new to this area of BFC, but feel the need to help with updates from Lanning.

He should be landing in Seattle about 12:30 Pacific time today. He should be back in the Balt/Wash area by Halloween.

We were watching Saving Silverman last night, and we got to the part where the guys kidnap Judith, and everyone gets tazered. Lanning said "That's what they're going to do to me, without the toilet bowl!"

Anyhow, more updates later

He's doing well. Today they watched videos of past riots at the prison, and saw a bunch of pictures and stuff. All is nice and cool - lots of physical training. They run roughly 3-4 miles every morning, and lots of push-ups and flutter-kicks. Too many guys are screwing up and causing lots of punishment. It's Boot Camp all over again.

Lanny was chosen to go through Combat Medic training. Those classes should start next week. He was also put in charge of stretches, as those who were in charge weren't leading them properly. Anyhow, all is well - so far!
