Christine and I decided that we should spend some time going off-roading with some friends. So we packed up the dogs and headed out for some adventure on Sunday.

This was a lovely old school ride!

It was pretty hot so it was important to stay hydrated!

Enjoying a fine lunch with some fine cutlery.

Had to make sure we had enough cutlery for two!

After lunch we needed some group shots before we started wheeling again!

Looks like you had fun Gus.....makes me wish I still had my Wrangler!

We had a blast. We did not know what to expect and there were a few scary moments (we almost had our truck roll over:eek:) but other than that, we had a lot of fun. We're looking forward to going out again in August to a new location. Full day drive to the camping location and we'll put the cutlery to more use!

I'm jealous as Hell Gus! I've barely had my rig off-road since the baby came 16 months ago. Good to see the dogs are still healthy!

Nice! Takes some cahones to put your rig in those tight spots.

So tell me - do your 4-wheelin' buds relate to your taking pictures of knives? I can just see you with your camera and knives while everyone else is chowing on a gyro watching you stab your knives into a tree for a picture.

I can relate - nice and thanks for the great pictures - enjoyed!!

That's funny! Yeah we had to do some explaining about the knives but in the end everyone thought it was pretty cool. I posted that pic of the BK 11 and the beer on an FJ forum and someone complemented me on the knife!

Man does that ever look fun. Did you have a Jeep on call in case you got stranded? :D

Everyone is good Murph. Christine got a bit tense when we almost rolled the truck! The dogs however were champs during the whole trip and just took all the jostling in stride!

Hope you and yours are doing well!

Looks like a great time! Those old FJ's are insanely cool.
