Very nice looking knives, especially the hunter. Really like the sheaths as well, are they yours?

Keith, all of those are nice. I really like the first one a lot. Nice work on the leather too.

Nice work all around. The handle contouring on the Red Mallee drop point knife looks super comfortable and secure--great job, mate. Really like the recessed shallow-domed pin, also--no matter what happens with the wood, that pin will look and feel right.

The first one is absolutely perfect. Simple, clean, classy, and functional. If I were designing my ideal knife, I suspect it would look exactly like that. Stunning work, sir.

Red mallee burl and san mai are matched well.
Australian woods always make me turn on :D
I remember that brought few pieces on my last trip to Byron.
The hamon is so nice!
I really love to see blades with hamon

Awesome works as usual!

Nice work Keith. I see you don't mind dipping a toe into the dark side with the little 440C blade. See you at the bar on Friday mate.

Looking forward to seeing these up close in Adelaide. I like the way the hamon flows through the ricasso on the W2 blade.

that's pretty much what I was going to say, only Will said it better than what I had in mind. Nice work Keith!

Wish I could make it down to the Adelaide show mate but I no chance at this stage. Looking forward to seeing your work up close and personal at Sydney in August though!

BTW: Really like the first two, but having said that even the little guy is screaming out "USE ME!!!" ;)

Cheers......Pete

Thank you very much for your comments all. Really looking forward to the show and a Coopers Pale off the tap, Hmmm

that's pretty much what I was going to say...

Lorien, I learned that from our friend Stuart Branson who did one like that on the last hunter he built for me.

I really like the concept, as the smooth domed pin does not stand proud of the wood surface by enough to chafe or cause discomfort, and expansion/contraction of the wood going back-and-forth between wet and dry climates has no noticeable effect on appearance or feel. My ironwood-handled hunter went from Stuart's shop there on the Vancouver Island coast to my home in the New Mexico high desert for a year and has now been with me on the coast in Washington State since last spring--no discernible change in feel or appearance at any point along the way.

Love it.
