I did not know if this was acceptable until I saw the thread on the FBM sheath. Last summer I got a SJTAK (first Busse). I discouvered that it fit my leather Knives of Alaska Bush Camp Knife Sheath perfectly. I bought a "replacement" sheath from Knives of Alaska for $17.95 (plus shipping). It is a fairly nice leather sheath (it does say "Knives of Alaska" on it). Not fancy, but very servicable.

Do you have any pics? I'm in need of a sheath for my newly aquired Mole Jack and think this may be a way to go. Thanks.

Help. I just upgraded to Gold Membership, but i still cannot figure out how to post pictures of my knife and sheath. Any help will be appreciated.

Two ways - if the pic is on the web, just click that little icon of the mountains and sky right above the textbox for the reply. (Don't use quick-reply). The same row as Bold/Ital/Underline, but 3rd from right.

OR, if it's on your hard drive, click the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS below under ADDITIONAL OPTIONS.

EDIT - hey, the little mountain-button (IMG) IS on quick-reply. Go figger. I never noticed that.

No you don't have to be a gold member, I aint's a goldy but I have posted a few pics in the past:thumbup:

I think my picture is too big (450K). I have seen pictures on threads that were very clear and detailed. How do you reduce the sized of a picture to fit the 800x600 requirement?

If you have Outlook Express, email them to yourself - it will ask if you want them reduced before sending. Quick'n'dirty.

Thanks for the information. Here we go again.

To all who helped, Thanks. I feel like a new horizon has been reached. Now I'll wast even more time on my knife addiction. Anyway, here is the Knives of Alaska leather sheath that fits the SJTAK. Not fancy, but only $17.95 and quick delivery. Just call Knives of Alaska.

Ron, Thank you for the Knives of Alaska sheath tip.

The link below outlines how a non-Gold member (or anyone) can include pictures within a posting here on Bladeforums. It is based on not using the BFC servers to store your pictures, but rather storing them somewhere else on the web. You then use that other web address to insert your picture in a posting here.

Hope that helps you out some.
