Here's one I just finished up last night for a soldier (medic) in Iraq. We worked out the design together. In honor of his service, I offered to let him name the model. Its a variation of my MSC (Military, Survival, Camp knife). He wanted to name it the RED ZONE, and so it is.

Along with the knife he wanted two sheaths. One with a large Tek-Lok to wear on a rigger's belt, and the other to strap directly to his gear.

RED ZONE Specs: Made from 1/4" O-1 tool steel with black oxide coating and full tang, differentially heat treated, tripple tempered 6" blade with combo edge, unsharpened false edge, thumb notches, beveled finger choil for choking up when necessary, sculpted green micarta grips, nasty skull crusher.

Hope he likes it!

Thanks for looking.

Scott...this is a great looking knife. Well done sir:thumbup:

That knife is really going to lift that guys spirits when he gets it. And that probably why you made it. Good for you to support those in harms way!

Thanks guys. I got alot of satisfaction making this knife, knowing where it was going.

A man sent me a knife while I was on my way to Kuwait in August 1990. Some people like him alot, some don't. His name is Lynn Thomson, from Cold Steel knives. He sent the knife (an SRK) and with a letter that said if I liked the knife I could send him a check for $35.00 when I had the time. If not, I could send it back and he'd pay the shipping. I sure was glad to have that knife back then. I still have it too. Hope this one finds that medic in good health and serves him well. (Sorry if I got a little off topic here.)

Thanks for looking, and for the compliments

Scott, I really like that alot. I also like the sheaths very much. I can see your sheaths are getting better and better every time you post pics. Nice work, Joe.

Wow awesome knife! I'm sure that medic gonna love that beauty!

Great looking knife. Amazing how hobbies can turn into a nice business and the best thing is that it is something you enjoy doing, not like work at all. Congrats on some beautiful blades.
