Hey Everybody"...........

Headed to The SHOT Show tomorrow.......

In years past I have promised to keep you guys up to speed on what be happening at the show and then posting maybe one post that was probably a bit incoherent....... Sooooooo, no promises this time........

To be perfectly honest by the time I get back to the room I am usually both brain dead and able to think only about how bad my freaking feet feel.....There is a lot of standing on and walking on concrete and my feet tell me they have too many miles on them at times........ Not a complaint really but definitely a statement of fact.... I do enjoy the show a lot and get to see a bunch of old friends and usually get to make a few new ones and of course I get to see a whole great big bunch of cool new stuff but, the whole thing tends to get a bit blurry on day two.......... Sooooooo, I will try to give an update or two but this year I promise nothing.....

Have fun in my absence and remember to honor thy mods as if they were your moms or Tradewater or somebody important.....LOL.......

Thanks for the post.... Really wish I could be there. I look forward to all the new blade designs being released each and every year.... My wife gets mad that I remember the shot show and the indy 500 more readily then her birthday.

I can only imagine how busy you are during the show so no worries on posting updates. Take care of yourself and thanks for making great blades.
 
We will be there... but only our boss and supervisor... :(

We will all be at blade though in atlanta.

Ethan -

When you get to Vegas, go to a BBY and get a gelpro mat. They are absotively/posilutely the cat's meow for standing on. I use one to kneel on while bathing my dogs in the tub and have another one that I move around the shop to whatever tool I'm using at the time.

Mine are the 20x36 versions for easier storage and moving. They also have 48 and 72 inch versions. If I was still working trade shows, I'd have a couple of those to put behind my tables.
 
Ethan, you should have let me know before you left for LV... Miss Angie's bread'nbutter pickles are not only delicious, the mineral-rich brine helps prevent and treat leg/foot cramps and discomfort, and they are reported to relieve general malaise.

Now you tell me.....

The last 24 hrs is why I do not update these threads......We have been waiting since yesterday noon for SureFire to get three pallets of catalogs the FXXXTGHKX out of our booth space...... You guys do not and should not give a rats hindquarters...... But I felt better after saying it.... The KaBar crew has found a Serbian tapas joint which was really eclectic but damn good and later Steve Johnson, Joe Bradley and Carson Raised a glass at the bar at Bouchon......Nice Cognac selection..... I even had a wee sip of Delamain Vesper.....Truly a nectar fit for the gods......... Carson is the newbie at KaBar and is gonna fit right in.......... Pallets are out of the way and now the wait begins for the fing carpet........

Seeing the Ka-bar / Becker stuff is bringing back that feeling of birthday / Christmas anticipation I had as a kid. I'm so glad there are "holidays" for grown-up kids.
 
I'm looking forward to whatever updates make it out. Uncle E, whether from you or someone else.
 
Enjoy the show and Kay said If you get wore out remember some good chicken noodle soup always makes you feel better. :thumbup:

Good day today ...... Busy with old friends and some new....... I did not get a stupid question all day...... Maybe a record....LOL....... OMG ..... There appear to be another thirty or so AR manufacturers....... How are they gonna make it I wonder?......... A lot of people this year.......

. Planning an easy dinner and an early evening.......

P.S. ......Trade.....tell Kay that I dream of chicken soup and I know it is good for me but, I am finding it difficult to find on the menu.......eb
 
Ethan, take your phone, and spend 15 minutes taking pictures of the Knife Booth, all the knives, esp the new stuff, and the people too. Even OKB, i don't think that'll kill ya. then post the pictures :D you know how by now. if not, snag a kid to do it ;)

just 15 minutes! that's all we need ;)

Uncle E snagging kids, yeah that's good PR. Listen to the man, Boss. Grab a wayward soul, probably somebody dressed in a Call of Duty (video game)shirt, looking at the tactical girl calendars. Make the fella take pix of the Ka-Bar/BK&T booth for a BK14.

Glad to hear from you at shot! I understand that things are probably insane there just trying to please the masses let alone all us crazies on the forum. Appreciate it all! Take it easy and we will try to keep on heads on while we wear out the edges of our seats. ;)
