Well, I really wish I had made the one in Reno a few years ago, as the drive would not have been as bad, but this is the next best thing! I'm off in a few hours for Mesa, then to Las Vegas Sunday night to see relatives, then back home Monday. Driving the whole way, with the trunk loaded down with goodies. I used to drive 12 and 13 hour shifts in my cab and could do 500 miles a day as easy as you please, but that was 20 years and 90 pounds ago, so I'm going to have to work on this 10 hour drive.
It was the subject of another thread, but if I hadn't got my CPAP machine a few weeks ago, there is no way I could make it without a co-driver. In any case, I tried to get my 20 year old son to go, but he is busy with police academy stuff and can't take the time off.
See you all when I get back online and recovered next Tuesday. I'll try and get some pics of all the nafarious characters gathered at Gin's house and post them here later.
Oh, and if Dan puts up any great looking knives as daily deals, please hold off buying anything until I have a chance to look them over first when I get back next week. I'd hate to miss out! I knew you would all understand!
