Of course I was a slacker again this year and waited till the last minute but anyone have any good valentine day bribes..oh, I mean gifts for the wife. Suggestions?

Well Id hate to see ya crash and burn.

Here's a fairly cheap winner that makes you a winner too!.

Bottle or two of a good Cabernet.

Nice steak on the grill--real hard to mess up a steak. Just rub it with a garlic salt and pepper and its on. Wrap a couple bakers in saran wrap and nuke for 10 minutes til soft. Maybe boil some peas or make a little salad. set table with candle light

One dozen Roses cheap ones...cause your only gonna give her the ONE .

The rest will go into the tub or on the bed with more candle light:D:thumbup: Yeah. petals only:thumbup:

The rest I hope you can handle....or your in more trouble than you thought:D

Wife has a closet with Coach purses collecting dust:eek:. Will gladly ship you one for a nice Busse knife.

May not make it for VDay unless you reply today.:D:D:thumbup:

Well maybe not--wife didnt think it was too funny:D

You mean that she is not going to get one of your Cupidganzaa picks. Your wife is going to be so disappointed.

Write a poem. Free verse is ok, doesn't have to rhyme.
Allude to events or feelings that only you two know about.
I guarantee you that she will be blown away. I have done this twice, and got a better response than with any gift I ever bought. And this is after over 30 years of marriage.

That is some serious homage bro! You can't lose with the truth, in fact, I read that "The truth will set you free" I believe it  Go for sincere, she should want that more than anything, including diamonds, and I have bought several :) My wife is worth whatever would make her happy, and she thinks the same......BUSSE'SSSSSSS   Good luck bro!

I don't have to worry about going out or anything, my Mrs. has to work overnights this week. I am off the hook as far as that is concerned. I am hoping I can still ride on the Prada purse I won for her at Blade last year. :D I'll probably help the kids make her a card though, that ought to do it. :D Free/cheap and from the heart always beats store bought.

Hmmm... I am thinking of buying my GF a new 300 WSM with a zeiss scope.

One day she will go hunting with me and it will be nice for her to have her own rifle. Until that day comes, I will just borrow it. Hmmmm.... she will also need a good knife... maybe a FFBM... Now THAT is Sexy!!! :D

I have bought my way out of trouble a number of times with the ladies by buying them JHD hair straighteners. Any top brand of straightener is good, just ask a female friend or relative what's the best make and buy that.
Then while they spend hours using them you get more free time to be on here or elsewhere looking for knives.
Best of luck to all with tomorrow.

Yeah, good luck with that!

If I gave my wife a gun/knife for v-day she would turn around and use it on me!

Super simple is the key to success a nice evening ice skating on the public, or a chilly walk next to Lake Superior on the board walk with a thermos of hot coco. My girl loves the simple dates more then the extravagance cause it reminds her of the magic she felt when we first started dating.

My wife also has a closet full we should trade some and give them to our wives so they think they are getting new ones and take the money and buy more INFI. How does that sound?:D:thumbup:

Yes... Call up Hallmark, and tell them to stop makin' up holidays! :p :D:D

I suggest that you keep it simple, but something that YOU put some effort into... running out and buying a dozen roses and a HALLMARK card shows no thought or imagination...

An idea...

Cook a really good dinner, serve it to her... maybe with a nice bottle of wine. ...And clean up the kitchen afterwards.
Clean the bathroom with the tub... Make it sparkle, ya know? And get a bunch of lightly scented candles, and some roses (or whatever her FAVORITE flowers are)... pluck the petals from some, and sprinkle them about, all over the bathroom... Draw a bubblebath for her with some Calgon or something nicer... Place the candles about, & light them, maybe put a radio with some music she likes to relax to on. Really set the mood for relaxation. Again, prepare to clean it up when she's done... or when you BOTH are done. ;)
Place a few of the roses (or the flowers of her choice) left, around the bedroom in vases, another on her pillow.
Poetry works... if you have a bit of a knack for writing some.
Generally... Do the things that you don't normally do, that she's gonna appreciate... and spoil her!!

...Continue this into the next day with the spoiling... Maybe do some things with her that she likes, but you're not normally into... Show her ya care, and are not just doing this 'cause it's Valentine's Day (hence the reason for continuing into the following day )... maybe take her out to dinner the next night... Make a weekend out of this if you really want to impress the woman ya love. :D:thumbup:

Of course... If none of this works... Take her out to see Rambo IV... LMAO!! :foot:

Have a blast, and good luck to you should you choose to accept this mission... :D:thumbup:
