I finally found a source for scrap copper and would like a set of cast copper pans just like cast iron. Does anyone on the board know of a metalsmith who can take junk copper at .999 fine and make a set of cast copper pans? I'm not looking for fancy French .002 micron coated aluminum, I'm talking about pounds of scrap copper that could be cast into a set of pans and maybe a griddle or two.
Is anyone interested in a project like this?
I'm flexible on handle material. Whatever works best works best. If a stainless steel handle bolted to a cast copper pan does the best job then that's fine with me.
Thank you for any replies.
