I know this is off topic, but I'm finally back. For a while now, our school's internet system wasn't quite working. Not only that but I'd been studying for my for my third mate's license. So for a while, I wasn't even able to get to the library to post on here or even read any posts. But as of Feb. 22 I am now a licensed (under the Coast Guard) third mate (third officer) for any size (merchant, private, passenger, etc.) vessel on all waters, inland and international!!! I figured that since I'm telling everyone I know, I'd toot my own horn here on the forums as well.
Anyway, I posted about replacement handles that I made for a BM 269 a while ago. Since then it was sent to Sabo, who did an excellent job, for polishing. I've taken pictures of it and as soon as they are developed, I will post them up for everyone.
Though I'm going to repeat this when I resurrect my old post I would like to sincerely recommend Sabo to anyone that is looking for a professional polishing job. Sabo truely brought my knife from a mediocre finish to a gleemingly beautiful and professional finish. Sabo, again, I would now like to thank you publicly for a job well done.
More to follow...
