It is with a heavy heart I type this. Around 430 this evening my Brother-in-Law's mother was murdered during a robbery of the plant nursery she and her husband own. I know none you know Mrs Mary, but this kind woman was taken abruptly from those that love her....for a few dollars.

I cannot express the anger I have for the SOB that killed this 5ft, 60 year old, 95lb mother of 2 ( Recent Grandmother of 2 also).

I hate to sound cliche but tomorrow is not promised,So take a little time and tell those close to you that you love them.

That's just awful!!!! Oh my. What do you say when things like this happen? I feel terrible for you and your family, I can't even comprehend what you are going though right now. I hope the bastard is caught real soon. Sending positive vibes from Oz. :(

My thoughts and prayers are with her family. And you are right about tomorrow not being promised, Life is fragile. Sounds like she is a good woman who will be a force for good for all that knew her.

I'm still in a state of disbelief. The woman wouldn't have fought. She posed no threat. And how much money could one really hope to get from a plant nursery. Appalled this could happen to such a peaceful lady. Thank you all for your concern.

So sorry to hear about this! Man .. So true tomorrow is not promised and its amazing how life can change in a sec..

I hope the SOB gets it real good!.. Makes no sense - plant nursery.. Geez... Cant even phatom why someone would rob it..
Again I am so very sorry..

Reading this makes me feel sick with rage. Humanity constantly fails to live up to even the most basic expectations. Maybe it's up to us to try and raise the bar a little! I know we haven't met outside the forum but my thoughts are with you and the whole family right now..

My prayers are with her family and friends. I just can't believe that things like this keep happening.

i am very sorry to hear this. peace be with you and your family.

Prayers for your family in these hard times. She sounds like a wonderful lady. Do not forget to celebrate her life, no matter how hard it is to get past the horror of this event. She deserves it.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Selfishness and disregard human life is a epidemic these days. My prayers are with her and her family.
