I really love my Busses. If I could take an AD or other small one to work I would. If there's ever a folder that comes out, I'd really like to see a 3" version of this knife. Or at least a lockback with INFI, if a smaller version appears to be unfeasable. In the meantime, I'm forced to a carry a folder.
I don't know if this is appropriate or not, please feel free to pitch it if I'm out of line, but I wanted to give the heads up to anyone in this forum who is looking for a good "trouser-friendly" folder. Besides, this place is turning into a "Busse Cantina", and I've seen lots of off topic threads floating around. AND I like you guys, so I thought I'd give you a tip.
Anyway, here goes:
IMO, a very, very nice folder to be had at a great price is the CRKT limited edition Howard Viele Wasp. Smooth as heck, comfortable, and built with a solid liner lock, much better than most. I've seen them for around $100 on eBay, and they were available originally for $250 at it's lowest price from internet dealers. Made in Switzerland, and very, very smooth and well finished. This is a gread deal for those of you looking
for a nice classy knife to fit into your trousers.
Are there any other trouser-wearing Busse fans out there? (I know you're out there.......) What do you guys do about taking a knife for use at work? I've thought that an assault shaker in a leather sheath might work for trousers? any ideas? Thanks.
