Forgive the off tipic post, but bear with a computer neophite here, the FAQ section says to enter the pictures URL, the picure is saved on my computer, so how do I find it's URL? Do I use the Path on my hard drive or do I have to upload it to a server of some kind first, and if so, how do I find one to use? Is there somthing else I need to know, to do this? Thanks, JDBraddy

As a basic member you cannot upload pics right from your hard drive. You need to utilize an online picture hosting server and get the link directly from that. Copy and paste the URL after opening up the IMG tag in the Post Reply setup. Premium and Gold members have the option to browse for pics on their hard drive when they hit the "browse" button in the "attach file" section of the Post Reply setup. I am umfamiliar with the pic hosting sites currently available. i used to use Photopoint but they went belly up I believe.

It's real easy.

When you begin a thread or post on a thread. . .scroll down towards the bottom of the page until you get to Attach file. Click on the browse buttom. Surf your hard drive until you find the pic that you'd like to post. . .Click on the pic and click on "open."

Keep in mind. . .the max size pic that can be posted is 102400 bytes.

Unfortunately. . .as K.V. Collucci stated. . .basic members aren't allowed to post pictures.

Just about every ISP supplies you with personal web page space.
You should be able to upload your picture(s) to your own website space and then put the url in the post.
The url will be http://<your website address where the file is located/<the name of the file>

Well, I entered a description of what the url would be, but it was converted to an actual link :o/
Anyway, the link will be the path to yoru personal web page that the file is located on followed by
/whatever the file name is

.......from their hard drive. But pictures can be posted from other locations that allow it by adding either A: a hyperlink to the photo hosting site, or B: adding the hyperlink to the "IMG" tab and submitting it with a title rather than an URL link.

I meant no disrespect by inferring that your membership status had anything to do with what you were asking. After I reread my post it seemed that I was dissing your status. :footinmou If it came across that way, my apologies and welcome to BF.C. Pull up a chair and enjoy. :D
