This is our business-working cowhorses. My friend is the rider ;he shows our horses. I'm not good enough yet to show against the big boys.I mostly hold on for dear life.

Just when I am about fed up with So. Cal. something like this comes along and cheers me up. Great pics. Beautiful land up there. Thanks for sharing. :)

Nice man,

As I said before, we used to go camping not far from there. But that looks like an awesome way to start the day.

Thanks guys---I get tired of it too,but at least I can hide a little bit here. My daughters call me the Unibomber.

Nice Pictures. I was just in San Diego over the 4th of July for a Viet Nam Helicopter Pilot's Reunion and took a trip to Wilson Creek Winery there in the Temecula valley. Beautiful country and------great wine too!! Thanks for sharing the pics.

We live right across the way from Wilson Creek !!!

I am just up the road in Corona, I love driving around over there. My family all lives in Murrieta too so I am in the area every now and then. Great pics thanks for posting.

When I worked for a hot air balloon company in San Diego most horse owners didnt appreciate the balloons going over the horse stalls.

I hate Those lousy ########---no offense to you gimmejr !!!. One flew about 30 feet over me when I was riding a 3 yr. old and blew off some air. Result was 3 cracked ribs and 3 cracked vertebrae in my neck.

I waiting for Porkducci to call from Napa so I can go meet him and his better half and get drunk and eat like a pig.... you know the usual

Over the years I have come to shy away from US wines, they are over priced and generally lack any ability to age well. With a bit of work I find that for $20-30, for Italian or French wine, I can match a $100+ bottle of domestic production. There are exceptions like Dierberg 2005 Pino.... but that unfortunately, is like finding a SHBM-LE on eBay for $265.

What we do well in the US is make a wine you can bottle and market quickly before anyone knows it lacks substance. Kind of like a real estate bubble.:grumpy:

I know what you mean about expensive. When our friends come out,we tell them never to buy wine from the wineries, but to note the ones they like and then go to CVS pharmacy in town and buy. They have everything for at least half price. I love to look at the balloons but some of the "Gasonauts" don't care about the people who live here.

No offense taken. I recognize some of those companys flying and I cant believe they are still operating, legally.
